Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

WK Pro ("we", "us", "our") is a software service operated from New Zealand. We provide a management platform for service providers. Contact: wkproapp@gmail.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following information when you use WK Pro:

Account data: email address, name, business name, logo
Business data: clients, work orders, invoices, quotes, team members
Payment data: billing details processed by Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
Usage data: log data, IP address, browser type, pages visited

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide and improve the Service
To process payments and manage subscriptions
To send transactional emails (invoices, quotes, reminders)
To respond to support requests
To comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate WK Pro:

Supabase — database and authentication (data stored in AWS)
Stripe — payment processing
Resend — transactional email delivery
Vercel — application hosting
Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement. We use the Meta Pixel on our public marketing pages and the Meta Conversions API on our server, to measure how many people who saw an advert went on to create an account or subscribe. When you subscribe, we send Meta the event, its value, and a one-way hashed version of your email address. We never send Meta your name, your clients' details, your invoices or any data you enter inside the app.

Each provider has its own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

Advertising measurement runs only on our marketing pages (the home page, sign-up and plan selection). It is not present anywhere inside the application, so nothing you do while managing your business is tracked for advertising.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon cancellation, data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at wkproapp@gmail.com.

7. Cookies

Essential cookies. Used to keep you signed in and to cache your subscription status so the app does not query the database on every page. These cannot be turned off without breaking the service.

Advertising cookies. On our public marketing pages only, the Meta Pixel may set the _fbp and _fbc cookies. They let us tell whether an advert led to a sign-up. If you arrive from a Google advert, we also store the gclid identifier from the link for the same purpose. You can block these with your browser settings or an ad blocker — the site works normally either way.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use these cookies to build profiles about you beyond measuring our own advertising.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level security on all database tables, and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
